①Switch and terminal equipment all support PoE
This method PoE switch directly through the network cable to support PoE power supply wireless AP and network cameras, this method is the simplest, but also need to pay attention to the following two points:
1, to determine whether the PoE switch and wireless AP or network camera is a standard PoE device
2, to carefully confirm the specifications of the purchased cable, cable quality is critical, bad quality cable will lead to AP or IPC can not be powered or constantly restart .
② switch supports PoE, the terminal does not support PoE
This program PoE switch out of the PoE separator, PoE separator will be separated into data signals and power, there are two output lines, one is the power output line, one is the network data signal output line that is the ordinary network cable. The power output has 5V/9/12V, etc., which can match various DC input non-PoE powered terminals and support IEEE
802.3af/802.3at standard. The data signal output line, i.e. ordinary network cable, can be directly connected to the network port of the non-PoE powered terminal.
③The switch does not support PoE, and the terminal supports PoE.
In this program, the switch is connected to the PoE power supply, and the PoE power supply adds power to the network cable and then transmits it to the terminal. This program is conducive to the expansion of the original cabling network and has no impact on the original network.
④The switch does not support PoE and the terminal does not support PoE.
This program connects the switch to the PoE power supply, and then connects to the PoE splitter, and finally transmits to the terminal.
Programs III and IV are suitable for the transformation of the traditional network, that is, the original switch does not support PoE power supply, but would like to take advantage of the PoE power supply benefits of the premises.
